Perhaps it's the pristine location, the classic beauty, or the history that has evolved here. Or maybe it's the fact that one cultivates a sense of contentment throughout every season at Stowe. At Stowe Mountain Lodge, located at the base of Mount Mansfield within Stowe Mountain Resort, this unique New England town in Vermont reaffirms its place as a renowned four-season destination for distinctive meetings.
For over a century Stowe has attracted the world's most discerning travelers, who have cherished the beauty of the area's covered bridges, sparkling lakes, rambling woodlands and majestic peaks. Having opened in June 2008, Stowe Mountain Lodge sets a new standard of luxury and aesthetics for the East Coast's most magnificent meeting resort – and the largest meeting venue in Vermont. Built at the base of Stowe Mountain Resort, in the new "Vermont-Alpine" style, Stowe Mountain Lodge offers a truly luxurious setting, while still paying respect to the Vermont traditions of utilizing local artisan products and embracing the tranquility of nature.

Built in the “Vermont-Alpine” aesthetic, Stowe Mountain Lodge offers a truly luxurious setting, while still honoring the Vermont traditions of utilizing local artisan products and embracing the tranquility of nature. The lodge’s exterior features a picturesque façade of woven timber and shingles that reflect the harmony found in nature, as well as stone veneer created from local quarries, and expansive glass to bring the beauty of the lodge’s outdoor surroundings to the indoors. Fire pits have been strategically placed throughout the grounds surrounding the lodge to further evoke the traditions of the past and connect guests with the essence of nature.
The décor throughout the lodge pays homage to local Vermont artisans including Simon Pearce glassware and Shackleton Thomas woodwork and pottery. The colors palette used is vibrant yet warm, and reflects the distinct seasons Stowe experiences. With cascading windows throughout the property, seating areas are meticulously placed in locations where guests can enjoy the warm glow of natural light. Two stone fireplaces in the upper lobby provide the perfect backdrops for spirited conversation, or cozy niches for quiet reflection.
Stowe Mountain Lodge offers a variety of room types, all of which are luxuriously appointed with sustainable, Vermont-inspired décor. Each room has been custom-designed as a respite, with warm tones, plush furnishings and soothing amenities. Most of our rooms feature a full or resort-sized kitchen, marble bathroom with separate soaking tub, stone-framed fireplace, plush micro-fiber sheets, queen-sized sleeper sofa, private balcony and flat-screen television.
Stowe Mountain Resort is the largest meeting venue in Vermont with over 56,000 square-feet of elegant and intimate meeting space situated within walking distance around the resort. Stowe Mountain Lodge boasts 12,000 square-feet of thoughtfully appointed indoor meeting space with dedicated wrap-around 3,400 square-foot terrace adjacent to the ballrooms. All meeting rooms can be sectioned into a variety of sizes to complement the size of the group.

Meeting attendees are treated to the finest farm-to-table fare from the hotel's signature restaurant, Solstice. Stowe Mountain Lodge perpetuates the farm-to-table ideology in every menu item. The farm-to-table concept is the idea that fresh, local ingredients are prepared to enhance the natural flavors and quality of the food creating innovative, gourmet dishes that are healthy and incredibly delectable. This culinary model is perfectly suited for Stowe Mountain Lodge, as the lodge is already a huge proponent and supporter of all things sustainable and green. Farm-to-table cuisine inherently supports local farmers and the surrounding area, allowing the lodge to give back to the community in yet another way. Stowe Mountain Lodge partners with advocacy groups like Vermont Fresh Network and Chefs Collaboratives to stay informed and involved in farm-fresh, forward thinking initiatives.
Guests experience an ever changing menu that reflects the flavors of the season. Regional New England seafood, Vermont cheese and dairy products, local fruits and vegetables and free-range, naturally raised meats are all staples in the sumptuous menu.
