Sun Valley, America’s first year-round destination resort, was built by the Union Pacific Railroad in 1936 to enchant the nobility and celebrity of the day.  The world’s first ski chairlift was also engineered here. 

Our Catering Department specializes in menu planning, meeting arrangements, audio/visual needs, entertainment and assistance with year-round recreational activities.  Our meeting rooms have extensive telecommunications and audio visual backbone cabling systems, which allow for numerous telephone, data, video, and audio distribution via fiber optics, data rated twisted pair, 802.11b wireless and coax.
