ALHI TAKES ACTION TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE

In November  2022, ALHI launched a new initiative in partnership with Evertreen aimed at promoting reforestation, biodiversity conservation and socioeconomic development. This initiative not only fosters the growth of local farming jobs for impoverished communities but also underscores our commitment to environmental stewardship through the  ALHI Forest project.

Every time a planner books a meeting with ALHI, a tree is planted on their behalf

Event planners are placing greater emphasis on environmental responsibility, and the ALHI Forest leads the way from the moment events are scheduled. As a token of gratitude, every time a planner confirms a meeting with ALHI, a tree is planted on their behalf. Thanks to the support of meeting planners and Members, we have helped make 11 countries greener.

• U.S. Environmental Protection Agency publishes its own Green Meetings guide where meeting planners can find tips, tools and resources to make environmentally responsible choices for meetings and events.
