DALLAS — August 4, 2026 — ALHI (Associated Luxury Hotels International) has launched its Luxury Leisure & Business Travel Division, a full commercial service selling rooms for its member hotels and resorts across six high-value transient channels.
The division serves as an extension of each member’s commercial team, working to grow transient revenue across luxury wholesale, corporate travel, consortia, entertainment, retail, and online travel agencies. The offer to members is a global sales force at the cost of a single hire.
“We are proud of our ability to listen to our member and broader community needs and develop solutions that can help with friction in our business. The need to move share in the many luxury programs, agent community, and corporate business needs has been pushed to the forefront over the past two years,” said Michael Dominguez, President and CEO of ALHI. “We launched a new GSO program to address this need and tackle the limited availability of experienced talent in this space post-pandemic. The response since its launch early in the year has been exciting, and momentum is building.”
Cesar Wurm leads the division. Wurm, Senior Vice President of Member Strategy & Commercial Strategy, spent years with IHG across its luxury and premium brands and has held roles with Sheraton, Starwood, and Trust Hospitality over more than two decades in hospitality.
The wider team includes Karen Codilla, Vice President of Optimization, and three Directors of Global Sales: Dina Miller (consortia and entertainment), Allison Sayer (corporate), and Barry Kushner (wholesale).
Members start with a Commercial Wellness Review that finds conversion and revenue opportunities across their booking channels. From there, the team provides distribution and content guidance and builds a quarterly plan to grow market share, with performance measured against RevPAR index benchmarks from STR and Demand360. The division also opens access to ALHI’s trade shows, client events, member marketing, and brand campaigns.
“Our members don’t need another sales pitch — they need rooms sold,” said Cesar Wurm, Senior Vice President of Member Strategy & Commercial Strategy. “We built this division to work inside their commercial team, opening accounts and channels most independent hotels can’t reach on their own.”
