As the country’s top meeting destination, Orlando continues to raise the bar for group events, and Caribe Royale Orlando is helping lead the way.
The resort is debuting its highly anticipated Coral Ballroom, a sleek, flexible new event space designed to meet the growing demand from mid-sized corporate groups. It will add to the property’s already expansive meeting offerings that range from productive meeting spaces to the Stadium Club sports bar where high-tech, immersive games are perfect for icebreakers and teambuilding events.
The 13,087-square-foot Coral Ballroom—part of Caribe Royale Orlando's convention center complex—is divisible into three sections and complemented by an additional 7,500 square feet of dedicated breakout space in the five adjacent Martinique Rooms. The addition provides a self-contained, executive-style environment that can be customized for meetings, receptions, exhibits, and launches.
“We noticed a consistent demand for groups in the 200-to-300-person range who wanted a space they could truly make their own,” said Amaury Piedra, Managing Director of Caribe Royale Orlando. “The Coral Ballroom and the Martinique Breakout Rooms were designed specifically with those groups in mind. It’s like an executive conference center the way it’s set up and self-contained, but it also connects with other meeting spaces.”
How Orlando is Winning Over Meeting Planners

With abundant sunshine, an international airport that makes this Florida destination easily accessible, and countless entertainment options to keep attendees engaged, Orlando’s meetings industry is thriving.
In 2024, the city’s group segment saw a 3.9% year-over-year increase, welcoming more than 5.6 million group visitors. Overall, Orlando hosted over 75 million visitors, reinforcing its status as one of the nation’s top destinations.
“In Orlando, we’re continuously ushering in new meetings innovation with new experiences and venues for planners to include in their agendas this year and beyond,” says Casandra Matej, President and CEO of Visit Orlando.
New Coral Ballroom Expands Options for Groups of All Sizes

At Caribe Royale Orlando, the new Coral Ballroom reflects the resort’s forward-thinking approach to meetings and events. While the resort already offered more than 240,000 square feet of flexible space, the hotel’s leadership recognized an opportunity to fill an important niche.
Few hotels in the U.S. can accommodate groups of 1,000 or more with both sufficient guest rooms and event space. With 260,000 square feet of meeting space and 1,217 one-bedroom suites plus 120 two-bedroom villas, Caribe Royale Orlando is well positioned to serve these large corporate gatherings. As a result, many planners are now signing multi-year contracts for their meetings and events, said Piedra.
At the same time, the resort wanted to make sure smaller and mid-sized meetings still had room to grow. The Coral Ballroom addition strikes that balance.
Designed with privacy and functionality in mind, the Coral Ballroom delivers a high-end, executive conference feel. Planners can host general sessions, breakouts and networking events without sharing space with other groups. Its versatility also makes it a popular choice for vendor showcases, exhibits and brand activations.
Strategically located within Caribe Royale Orlando’s convention center, the Coral Ballroom enhances event flow and logistics, giving larger groups additional flexibility to expand programming. Even the resort’s biggest gatherings—up to around 1,200 attendees—can use the Coral Ballroom as an extension of their events.
The Coral Ballroom accommodates up to 1,056 guests for banquets or 1,436 for receptions. Combined, the Martinique breakout rooms can host up to 300 guests for banquets and 480 in a theater-style setup.
Diverse Venues for Every Type of Event

Beyond the new ballroom, Caribe Royale Orlando continues to deliver customizable group experiences across its property. One standout is Stadium Club®, the resort’s high-energy sports bar and entertainment venue that’s quickly become a planner favorite. In fact, eight out of 10 groups hold an event there, Piedra noted.
“Not only is it a fun hangout spot, but it’s helping the meeting planners not incur the costs of going offsite,” he said.
Stadium Club recently debuted an updated menu featuring crowd-pleasing favorites like hot honey pizza, Southern-style chicken and waffles, shareable wings and the signature Royale Burger with truffle aioli.
“I think we have the best burger in Orlando,” Piedra said.
Planners can take full advantage of Stadium Club’s built-in tech and energy. Massive 360-degree LED screens can be customized with company branding, highlight reels or award clips, adding a personalized touch to each event. Attendees can also compete in golf simulator challenges—such as longest drive competitions—or take part in team-building activities inside private club-style simulator suites.

Loaded with a dozen interactive games, the simulators let guests test their golf swing on one of 48 virtual courses, throw passes in a football challenge, shoot hoops on simulated courts and try out other types of games. Each game adjusts to varying skill levels, offering a fun and easy way to break the ice with co-workers.
“Groups want unique, differentiated experiences,” Piedra said. “Our team is able to create for them these curated, customized experiences and that’s what’s setting us apart.”
Caribe Royale Orlando’s outdoor venues also remain in high demand throughout the fall, winter and spring, offering lush tropical backdrops for receptions and dinners. From The Grove event lawn to the cascading waterfall by the main pool, each space can be tailored for creative themes and formats that match a group’s vision.
Looking Ahead: Culinary Innovation and Villa Enhancements

Next up, Caribe Royale Orlando will be debuting some new dining experiences and refreshing its villas.
The Venetian Chop House, Caribe Royale Orlando’s Four Diamond restaurant, will undergo a refreshed redesign in 2026, including an elegant new wine cellar, modernized interiors and new menu offerings. The award-winning Italian steakhouse recently added a private dining room for small groups. A new Omakase-style sushi bar is also in development for late 2026, bringing a chef-driven dining option for small executive groups between 15 to 20 people.

In addition, the resort is reimagining its two-bedroom villas with a fresh Floridian design. The villas are especially popular among VIP attendees and corporate leaders traveling with family. A model villa will debut in early 2026, with the full renovation completed by the end of that year.
From elevated dining concepts and redesigned villas to new meeting spaces like the Coral Ballroom, Caribe Royale Orlando continues to anticipate the needs of meeting planners while solidifying its reputation as a premier destination in the meetings and events industry.
