Piedmont's

Overlooking the Greg Norman Golf Course and Potomac River, Piedmont’s offers modern American cuisine highlighting locally inspired selections from the Piedmont and Tidewater regions of Virginia. Located within the Clubhouse at Lansdowne Resort, the restaurant offers guests and club members the warmth and welcome of a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace during all seasons and a sun-dappled terrace during warmer months. For lighter fare and a more casual experience, guests also enjoy Piedmont’s Pub, which features locally distilled spirits, craft brews and wines.

Coton & Rye

In the late 1700s, the Coton & Rye property stood on this very land. Nestled along the Potomac River, the farm flourished as a harvester of rye. Today, Lansdowne Resort honors that agricultural heritage with comforting tavern fare prepared from Old Dominion recipes and made with freshly picked ingredients sourced from Loudoun County farms. Join us in raising a glass of Virginia-crafted beer, wine or spirits to toast this time-honored legacy.

Riverside Hearth

Enjoy peaceful Potomac River Valley panoramas as you dine on the local bounty served casually, kiosk-style, in Riverside Hearth. Savor eggs perfectly cooked-to-order and an endless abundance of hearty, seasonal flavors all masterfully prepared in our interactive, exhibition kitchen. The lettuce, herbs and microgreens on your plate are hydroponically grown right here in Riverside Hearth.

Five Elements Framework

Lansdowne Resort utilizes a Five Elements Framework in developing dining and culinary menus. Each of the Five Elements - wood, fire, earth, metal, water - shares a complex relationship with the seasons and tastes – among other factors. When the culinary team collaborates on seasonal menus, they are guided by the Five Elements, intertwined with the correlated tastes, as well as the guiding principle that food is medicine, to help deliver cuisine that enhances health and strengthens bodies.
