“Our vision for Hotel Polaris was to craft a space that connects our guests with both the inspiring landscape of the Rocky Mountains and the rich legacy of the Academy,” said Curtis Bova, general manager of Hotel Polaris. “Every detail, from the sweeping views of the Front Range and the Academy to the mid-century decor, reflects our commitment to honoring this unique heritage. We celebrate both the Academy’s history and its graduates with thoughtfully curated touches that bring this story to life. We’ve created a welcoming environment that invites the public to engage with the Academy in an approachable, meaningful way, bridging the past and present in every corner of our hotel.”
Modern, Luxurious Design
The design and decor of Hotel Polaris draws inspiration from the Academy, celebrated for its internationally recognized mid-century modern architecture. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by 180-degree views through expansive windows overlooking the Academy, including a framed view of the historic campus chapel and spectacular vantage points to take in the Front Range. The interiors balance form and function with luxurious materials and refined details. Rich hues of blue and silver evoke the Academy’s legacy, while warm tones create an organic atmosphere that brings the outdoors in.
In the guest rooms, a sleek modern design includes built-in headboards and custom-made side tables. The 9th floor Club Level rooms provide an even more elevated decor with leather headboards, rich blue fabric in the seating area and mid-century gold lighting and metal accents throughout. The 9th floor also provides a Club Lounge experience with a complimentary continental breakfast, snacks throughout the day and drinks each evening.
