For more than 15 years, the Patricia Mendoza Art Gallery, in the historic center of San José del Cabo, has exhibited works of contemporary and modern art not only by acclaimed international artists, but local, regional and national artists, too. In addition to its exhibitions, the gallery occasionally hosts Art to Table, a unique experience during which chefs interpret an artist’s work through creative dishes.  

Understated Surfing Spots

Consistent swells, warm weather year-round and uncrowded breaks suitable for beginners and experts alike make Los Cabos and the Pacific coast of Mexico an uber-popular surfing destination. Whether your clients are surfers or not, a fun break away from the business of the day can be a visit to one of the area’s popular surf spots to watch others hang 10. Or, for a fun teambuilding event, take lessons and learn to rip it yourselves.

Whale Watching

If your time in Los Cabos and the Pacific coast of Mexico falls between December and April, you’re in luck — that’s prime whale watching season along the coastline. Just like people, whales follow the warmer weather to the nutrient-rich waters to not only feed, but have their babies. Charter a boat for your group to see the gray and humpback whales for yourselves. 

Farm-to-Table Cooking Class

Put another spin on farm-to-table with a cooking class high above Los Cabos at Monte Cardón. After the chefs source local ingredients from surrounding farms and orchards, not to mention the sea, your group is in for a four-hour fiesta during which you’ll take a tour of the property, enjoy a welcome cocktail and participate in a hands-on, three-course cooking class, enjoying the fruits of your labor afterwards. Private cooking classes are available, and the venue is available for private events if you’d rather someone else do the cooking. 

Golf

The golfers in your group will delight in the opportunity to tee off on any one of the more than 20 golf courses in and around Los Cabos, especially the waterfront courses where it seems as though the greens reach right into the ocean. The region is such a dream for golfers that pro Ernie Els and his team at Ernie Els Designs are developing a new 18-hole course just 15 minutes north of downtown Cabo San Lucas.

Cocina de Autor

Los Cabos’ first MICHELIN Star was awarded to Cocina de Autor in May 2024, led by two MICHELIN Star Chef Sidney Schutte. Your guests will be wowed by an unforgettable eight- to 10-course dinner tasting menu that highlights the regions freshest local meats, seafood and produce, all presented in playful yet sensational dishes. 

Zenna

Finding inspiration in the region’s vibrant flavors, Zenna, an Asian-Latin restaurant, is a terrific culinary destination for adventurous foodies. For breakfast, try a plate of Thai sausage and fried eggs served with fried rice and a mint basil salad. The dinner menu features crudos, sushi, crispy chicken, short rib gyozas, pan seared sea bass and a grilled New York steak served with a plantain puree.  

The Woods Cabo 

Chef Larbi Dahrouch uses his extensive culinary training to create dishes that highlight the essence of the region for an elevated dining experience at The Woods Cabo. The restaurant’s sushi and butcher house menus complement its extensive dinner menu that features French, Spanish and Baja-inspired flavors. A private event space is available for up to 20 guests, or reserve the entire restaurant for an exclusive dinner.
