In 2021, Carneros Resort and Spa unveiled eight new raised-bed culinary gardens, an extension of its existing farm-to-table program and maintaining its agriculture roots. The new gardens feature 50 varieties of organic herbs and vegetables as well as fresh eggs from the resort’s chicken coop, granting seamless access for the resort’s culinary team to showcase only the highest quality of ingredients year-round.
FARM features an elevated menu based on locally sourced produce, including ingredients from their own 1,300 square foot organic raised-bed gardens, located directly in front of the restaurant. Guest can complement their meal with an extensive selection of wines, craft beer, or a hand-crafted cocktail. This space offers a casually luxurious indoor and outdoor setting highlighted by a cathedral ceiling, natural lighting and a living room-style al fresco pavilion with cozy firepits.
Managed by culinary gardener Marley Dawson and new chef de cuisine John Carney, the duo create a memorable dining destination experience for groups, heavily influenced by the micro seasons of Napa Valley. For a more intimate experience, guests can gather at the new outdoor gathering tables. The new culinary gardens offer a unique opportunity for groups to experience hand picking one’s own produce, private gardening, cooking demonstrations, and gathering around for a family-style meal.
