Explore the strategic and meaningful ways Prince Waikiki is leaving the world a better place.

Sustainability
Prince Waikiki is committed to perpetuating and cultivating a brighter tomorrow through ongoing efforts by sourcing local products, working with sustainable partners, striving for zero food waste, reducing carbon footprints and conserving energy.
Prince Waikiki is proud to have been awarded the Hawaii Green Business Award for the past three years, showcasing their commitment to protecting Hawaii’s environment.
Whether it’s working with local farms to source menu items, partnering with Aloha Harvest in battling food insecurity, or simply keeping over 500,000 plastic bottles out of the landfills on an annual basis, Prince Waikiki is deeply committed to supporting the community and improving Hawaii.

With a commitment to sustainability and providing the freshest ingredients in all of the hotel's dishes, the Prince Waikiki culinary team has created the only hotel rooftop aquaponic garden on Oahu. The urban garden produces crisp butter lettuce, lilikoi, edible flowers, garlic chives, chili peppers, yuzu and more. This fresh produce can be enjoyed through dining at 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar, Hinana Bar and the Club Lounge.
Prince Commitment
With a deep connection to the history of Oahu, Prince Waikiki is committed to not only honoring the past but establishing the future of new generations of locals and visitors alike.
The Prince Commitment was created with this purpose in mind – support the community the same way the community continues to support Prince Waikiki. By allocating a daily $1 from each room stay, the Prince Commitment is dedicated to supporting local partners and nonprofit organizations that share the same core values as Prince Waikiki. These organizations include Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, Make-A-Wish Hawaii, the Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA), Bishop Museum, Anuenue School and Hawaii Theatre Center.

Understanding the reaching effects of business booked with Prince Waikiki makes the art of meetings and events at this destination hotel just a bit sweeter.
