The Kahala Hotel & Resort is celebrating its 60th anniversary with an ongoing, property-wide room refresh project, slated for completion by summer 2025. Starting with the recently completed dolphin wing and ocean front rooms, all accommodations at The Kahala Hotel & Resort are being systematically imbued with new life, while carefully retaining the timeless charm and modern elegance the property is renowned for. Every detail, from the bright new color palette to elevated flooring to locally inspired linens and decor, has been thoughtfully chosen to enhance the ambiance of The Kahala's accommodations. Select refreshed rooms are available to book, with the full project slated for completion by summer 2025.


In a nod to local culture and design, NOHO HOME by President and Creative Director Jalene Kanani, will provide plush loveseats, enveloped in the exclusive Kapolei Slub fabric, for the refreshed rooms. Aligning with The Kahala’s values, NOHO HOME is driven by Kanani's profound love for Hawaiian heritage, reimagining the modern island home aesthetic utilizing organic textures that have been woven with native intelligence. These new pieces are not only a testament to the resort's sophisticated taste but also a means of supporting and promoting local craftsmanship and artistry.
